Congratulations to Jessie and Jayde on completing their first HYROX event. For those that don't know, HYROX is a fitness race. Participants have to run 1km followed by a workout station and this is repeated 8 times. The workout stations between each run were: 1000m ski erg, 50m sled push (102kg), 50m sled pull (78kg), 80m burpee broad jumps, 1000m rowing, 200m farmers carry (2x16kg KB), 100m sandbag lunges (10kg) and 75 wall balls (5kg). They completed the race in 1 hour and 38 minutes. The girls put in a massive effort to their training when they committed to this 6 months ago. hey didn't stop to walk once and pushed through right until the very end. Well done girls!
